Here is a list of the most frequently asked questions about our product and website. If you do not see your question answered here please contact us using the CONTACT US page.

General Questions

What types of t-shirts do you use?

We use 100% cotton t-shirts (90/10 on some colors such as the athletic grey) from the best brands we could find. We choose brands that are pre-shrunk and have the best quality manufacturing such as taped shoulder seams and quality woven cotton. If there is a problem, or you are unhappy with the quality of the shirt you received please CONTACT US and let us help correct the problem.

Where can I find detailed sizing information?

Each product page has a size chart button located next to the product. It can also be found on the SIZE page. We have found the measurements to be quite accurate. If you have a specific measurement that is not listed please send us your question on through CONTACT US.

Can I come back and purchase something later?

Add the product to your wish list, you can then come back and move it to your shopping cart to buy the product.

What currency is used on the site?

All products listed are in U.S. dollars (USD).

What is the quality of your screen prints?

We have spent years researching the best quality inks available. We use high grade phthalate free plastisol inks to assure quality and safety. We stand behind the quality of our garments and our prints and make them to last.

Do you charge tax?

Yes. We charge tax for all shipments made to the state of Washington.

How much will the t-shirt shrink?

Most of our t-shirts are 100% pre-shrunk cotton fabric, or a blend of 90% cotton/10% polyester. As with all cottons and blends, you can expect shrinkage of about 5-7% after the first wash. What's the best way to wash/care for a t-shirt?

To extend the life of the shirt and the print it is best to wash your t-shirt inside out using cold water and air-dry them. The heat from clothes dryers can shrink your shirt. Try air drying your shirt, then place into your dryer for a few minutes to reduce wrinkles and to fluff the fibers.

How often do you add new products?

We add new products to the website as often as we can. If you want to notifications on new designs, subscribe to our newsletter, or join us on facebook and twitter.

How closely do the colors match to what I see on the website?

We try to make the colors on the website match the print and garment colors as closely as possible. We show multiple images of each product to try to give a good representation of what the t-shirt will look like in real life. Because of variations in computer and monitor setups and slight variations in dye lots from the manufacturer we cannot guarantee that the color that shows on your monitor matches the garment exactly.

How long has Tot Tees been in business?

Tot Tees was dreamed up in 2010 and started selling online in 2012. The printing is done by one of our founders companies that have been screen printing for over 20 years.

Payment & Shipping

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept: Credit cards - Visa, American Express, Master Card, and Discover, PayPal Balance, Debit cards, Instant transfer from your bank account (if eligible), eCheck (a delayed transfer from your bank account - will result in delayed shipping). We do not accept payments over the phone.

How secure is your website?

We use Square and PayPal for all of our transactions to ensure secure payment processing.

USPS Shipping

USPS ships in about 1-2 business days. It takes 2-8 days to get there depending on if you shipped standard or priority.

How much are your shipping charges?

We ship via the United States Postal Service. Our rates are based on your location, the weight of your package, and the shipping method that you choose. Shipping typically starts at $4.99 for the first item and increases depending on quantities ordered and if you choose to expedite your order. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to U.S. addresses. We are looking into international shipping. Please CONTACT US if you would like to see international shipping.

Do you ship to APO / FPO addresses?

Yes, we ship to APO and FPO addresses. Since we use the United States Postal Service, customers shipping to APO or FPO addresses should put the United States as their country.

How do I track my package?

First Class Mail and Priority Mail come with a Delivery Confirmation number that will be sent to you via email when we ship your order. A Delivery Confirmation number is similar to a tracking number, however information about the progress of your shipment is usually not updated until the day your shirt is delivered.

Designs

I have a great idea, design, product, or shirt! Do you want to buy, make, promote, or create it?

Yes, yes we do. CONTACT US and we can send you information about what we look for, what we pay, and how we do it.

I am a designer, are you hiring?

We are always looking for talented people to work on a freelance basis. If you are interested, please CONTACT US for more information.

Can you make me a custom design?

No, we do not do custom printing. You can use www.printables.com for custom printing.

Returns & Exchanges

I received the wrong shirt/The shirt I received was defective.

First off, we are sorry. If we somehow sent you the wrong shirt, or a defective shirt made it through our quality control please visit RETURNS below. DO NOT mail it back without contacting us first. Order received by our shipping department without proper return documents cannot be processed and may be refused. There are no restocking or shipping fees if the problem occurred on our end.

Can I return or exchange a shirt I purchased?

Yes, however we can only accept unworn and unwashed shirts for return or exchange within 30 days of delivery. Shipping is not refundable and returns without an exchange are subject to $3 restocking fee. There are no returns or exchanges on discontinued shirts. Visit the RETURNS page and we will send you details on how to return or exchange your shirt.

Ordering

What is my order status?

We send out emails at each step to keep you informed on your order status. You should receive an email verifying your order within an hour of placing your order. Then within the next 48 hours you should receive an email that your order has shipped that includes a tracking number.

Can I cancel an order once it has been processed and paid for?

As long as your order has not shipped we should be able to cancel it. Contact us immediately at orders@tottees.com with your order number, name, and email address and we will get your order cancelled.

Can I make a change to my order?

Whether you you made a mistake, or would like to change something on your order, please email us your order number, name, and email address along with what you would like to change on your order at orders@tottees.com. As long as your order has not shipped out yet, we should be able to make the change for you.

Why didn't I receive a confirmation email?

Most likely it is stuck in your spam folder. Check to make sure you can receive emails from tottees.com and google.com If you are not able to locate it in your spam folder please email us orders@tottees.com with your email address and what you ordered and we will confirm that the order was placed.

There is/was an issue with my order, how do I get it corrected?

Tell us what the issue is using our CONTACT US page and we will do whatever we can to solve the problem. If it is a problem with the t-shirt, or if you made a mistake on the order please see the RETURNS section.

Do your shirts ever go on backorder?

We try to keep all our shirts in stock but sometimes run out of a certain size or style of a design. We will send you an email notifying that there is a product availability situation. Because we do print our own product, we can usually have the shirt back in stock within a couple days. If your order contains one or more shirts that are out of stock, then it will typically not be shipped out until all of your order is in stock.

What name will appear on my credit card bill?

The name on your credit card bill will be PAYPAL*TOT TEES.

Do you have a catalogue you can send me?

No. Since we are always adding new designs and retiring old ones we only have all our designs online.

Do you offer wholesale prices?

Yes. We offer wholesale prices with minimums as small as 24 pieces. Please CONTACT US for additional information

How can I contact you?

The fastest way is to send an email on the CONTACT US page or at sales@tottees.com. 

How long will it take to get my order?

Orders typically ship in about 1-3 business days, and it can usually take 2-8 days to get to you. We will e-mail you a tracking number when your order ships.

I need my order right away. How can I get my order quicker?

Barring any unforeseen issues with stock, as long as your expedited order is placed by 11 am PST M-F your order will ship the same day. Choose Priority USPS shipping on the final order page. Be aware that posted shipping time estimates do not include weekends or holidays so plan accordingly.
